I have a love/hate relationship with Taylor as the main character. That happens when the character development is on point. I am so glad for the continuation. Though she seems closed I am happy with the Carlos relationship. He challenges her and I love it.
Awesome second book as good as the first and I cannot wait for the rest of the series!!

I loved the book. The author's development of the three main characters made them feel so real I felt I knew them personally. I laughed when they laughed and cried when they cried. Can't wait for the next edition!

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel It gives you a clear view of the struggles a young black girl faces when it comes to "pretty". The author takes you on a journey of self discovery and self acceptance in a world where the heroines beauty is not the norm.
